How do I know if you're the right fit for me?
Where are you based and how far do you travel?
If you love our images, that's a great start! Photos are such a personal preference, and the most important thing is that you choose a photographer whose style you really connect with. We are both pretty laid back but high energy people, and just want you to feel comfortable with us and enjoy your day. If you want to chat to us before booking, just shoot us an email and we can organise a phone chat to go through any questions you might have.
We are based in the Illawarra, and we photograph weddings in the Illawarra, South Coast and Southern Highlands regions. We generally only take weddings that are within 2 hours of the Illawarra because of work load and having young families. On very rare occasions (for example, in quieter months) we may travel for a wedding, but for a solid answer and a travel fee quote, please send through an enquiry.
We hate having our photo taken, what can we do to calm our nerves about being in front of the camera?
How will I know who will be photographing my wedding day?
Most people say this, you aren't alone! We work with the couple on the day to get photos that best reflect your personalities and your relationship dynamic. We will direct you on where to stand and how to hug, etc, but we won’t have you doing anything that you aren't comfortable doing. The best way to ensure you have photos where you look relaxed and fun is to relax and have fun, let us take care of the rest.
You will be told at the point of enquiry/booking which photographer is available on your date, and then your photographer will be listed on your contract. If you have a preference of either Matt or Holly (for example, if you've seen one of us in action at a friends wedding and loved our vibe) just let us know at the point of enquiry so we can let you know if they are available.
Do you have a second photographer available?
How many images will I receive and when will we get our hot little hands on them?
We shoot our weddings as a solo shooter. If you want to discuss whether or not you need a photographer who offers two shooters, it would be best to jump on a call so we can go through your concerns and give you some guidance.
On average, we deliver 80-100 images per hour of coverage. You will receive a preview within a week of the wedding (normally it’s a few days later), and then the full gallery within 4-8 weeks.
Can you help us with the timeline for the day?
Do you have a videographer available?
Absolutely, we would love to help with this so it all runs as smoothly as possible. There are so many variants to every wedding depending on locations, travel between locations, the sunset time on that particular date, etc, so if you have timing, location or logistics questions just send us an email with the details you do already know and we can go from there planning the perfect timeline for photos.
We don’t have a videographer on our team, but we do work with some absolute legends and are happy to send you recommendations! The best place to start is on our recommended vendors list 'here'.
What happens if you are sick on the day of our wedding?
Can we see a full wedding that you have shot?
In the unlikely event that an emergency situation pops up and we are unable to physically be at your wedding, we would contact our large list of photographer friends in our amazing wedding community to find a suitable replacement to shoot your day.
Sure can! We would love to send through a full gallery or two from a previous wedding we have shot at your venue (or a similar venue), so just let us know if you'd like this.
